PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier capable of preventing uncomfortable feeling due to blowing air from a blowing port and keeping the supplying efficiency of purified air to an indoor or the like.SOLUTION: The air purifier purifies air taken in from outside by a fan and blows the air from an outlet 17, wherein the outlet 17 is horizontally long, and the vertical width H1 at the center in the widthwise direction is wider than the vertical width H2 at the edges. In the outlet 17, a plurality of air directing plates 17a are arranged side-by-side in a horizontal direction at intervals, the plate surfaces of the air directing plate being in a vertical position that extends in the vertical direction and along the direction in which the air is blown. The closer the position of the plate surface to an end side in the horizontal direction, the more the plate surface faces towards the outflow side and opens towards the outside in the horizontal direction. The air purifier has an air passage which has one end in the air flow direction connected to the inflow side of the outlet 17, and the cross-section of which perpendicular to the air flow direction is horizontally long.
