PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifungal retainer and a method of producing the antifungal retainer, which can develop a therapeutically effective antifungal activity (beneficial effect) and has cleaning durability, and thereby, can continuously demonstrate sufficient antifungal activity even after cleaning or washing, and to provide antifungal raw materials, articles for infection prevention or treatment of fungus diseases, external preparations for infection prevention or treatment of fungus diseases, and others, using the above antifungal retainer.SOLUTION: The method of producing the antifungal retainer includes an injection step of dissolving an antifungal in a medium selected from a supercritical fluid, a subcritical fluid or water in a liquid state at a temperature over 100°C, and bringing the medium with the antifungal dissolved into contact with a carrier to inject the antifungal together with the medium into the carrier.
