The present invention provides a compound useful as an antifungal agent, particularly as an agent for treating deep-seated mycosis. The fungus Acremonium persicinum was harvested and the cyclic compound isolated from the culture. The cyclic compound or a salt thereof has a good antifungal activity and is useful as a medicine, in particular, as an antifungal agent, thus completing the present invention. The cyclic compound of the present invention or a salt thereof can be used as a preventive or therapeutic agent for mycosis, particularly, mycotic fungi.본 발명은 항진균제, 특히 심재성 진균증 치료제로서 유용한 화합물을 제공한다. 진균 아크레모늄 퍼시시눔(Acremonium persicinum)을 채취하고, 그 배양액으로부터 환형 화합물을 단리하였다. 상기 환형 화합물 또는 그 염은 양호한 항진균 활성을 가지고 있으며, 의약, 특히, 항진균제로서 유용한 것을 확인하여, 본 발명을 완성하였다. 본 발명의 환형 화합물 또는 그 염은 진균증, 특히, 심재성 진균증의 예방 또는 치료제로서 사용할 수 있다.
