Pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating breast cancer containing crystalline polymorph of tetraarsenic hexaoxide and method for producing the same
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating breast cancer, comprising tetraarsenic hexaoxide having a crystalline polymorphism a (As4O6-a) of 99% or more of arsenic hexaoxide, or a method for producing the same. It exhibits excellent cancer cell growth inhibitory and metastasis inhibitory effects and can be usefully used as an anticancer agent.
