Peptide mixtures suitable for eliciting an immune response are disclosed. The peptide mixture includes first and second peptides each corresponding to a fragment of the RAS protein. The first and second peptides each comprise a region of at least 8 amino acids including position 13 of the RAS protein. The regions of the first and second peptides each independently have at least 6 amino acid residues that are identical to the corresponding region of the RAS protein except at position 13. Each of the first and second peptides has a point mutation at the amino acid corresponding to position 13 above. The point mutation of the first peptide is different from the point mutation of the second peptide.
