The present invention relates to edible earthworm powder, which is manufactured by adding at least one kind of medicinal herbs selected from the group consisting of Eucommia ulmoides Oliver, Circii radix root, Liriope platyphylla F. T. Wang & T. Tang, safflower seeds and Acyranthes bidentata Blume at 300-500 parts by weight to the weight of earthworm and to a preparing method thereof. According to the present invention, the content of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), which is effective to prevent osteoporosis, increases by mixing appropriate medicinal herbs with earthworms, growing and powderizing.
