An auto-injector (1) comprising: a syringe carrier (7) configured to comprise a syringe (3) and having a bevel element (7.1) with a first bevel (7.2) and a second bevel (7.3); and a basic element (2) including an elastic rod having a rod head (2.1) configured to engage the bevel element (7.1), in which the first bevel (7.2) is configured to deflect the rod head (2.1) in the radial direction relative to the main element (2), and the second bevel (7.3) is configured to deflect the head (2.1) of the rod in a tangential direction relative to the main element (2) .2. The auto-injector (1) according to claim 1, wherein the head (2.1) of the rod is deflected by the first bevel (7.2) when the syringe carrier (7) moves in the first direction relative to the main element (2), and the head (2.1) of the rod is deflected by the second bevel ( 7.3) when the syringe carrier (7) moves in the second direction relative to the main element (2) .3.
