The present invention provides antagonizing antibodies that bind to growth hormone receptor (GHR). The invention further relates to therapeutic methods for use of these antibodies to reduce IGF-1 levels and/or for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases associated with excessive IGF-1, including treatment of acromegaly, gigantism, cancer, diabetic nephropathy, arthritis, and lung inflammation.La présente invention concerne des anticorps antagonistes qui se lient à un récepteur de l'hormone de croissance (GHR).
