A device for assisting pelvic adjustment includes a pair of arms (3, 5), and is connected to one end of each arm by a connecting member (7). The connecting member (7) allows relative rotation of the two arms around the axis passing through the connecting end of the arms in a plane passing through the longitudinal axis of both arms. A method of using such a device is disclosed.
