PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect energy saving of the operation of an air-conditioning installation necessary for maintaining rearing ambience while keeping the rearing ambience for mice as small animals at an appropriate range of temperature and humidity.SOLUTION: A control system for an air-conditioning installation for a mouse-rearing chamber is provided, working in such a way that: if the absolute humidity of the outside air exceeds a predetermined first value x1-dx, a dehumidification cooling is conducted using an air conditioner to bring the absolute humidity to the first value or lower followed by heating a heater, while if the absolute humidity of the outside air is lower than a second value x 2 that is lower than the first value, a heating humidification is conducted using the air conditioner to bring the absolute humidity to the second value or higher followed by heating using the heater, or, if the absolute humidity falls between the first and second values, a heating is made in this heating operation, the chamber is put under control at a temperature TSPmin higher than by a defined temperature than a lowest temperature determined by the mouse-rearing guideline or under a humidity φSPmax lower by a defined humidity than a maximum humidity within the range of a relative humidity determined by the guideline.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】小動物であるマウスの飼育環境を適切な温度および湿度範囲に保ちながら、飼育環境の維持に要する空調設備の運用を省エネルギ化する。【解決手段】マウスを飼育する飼育室を空調する空調設備の制御装置は、外気の絶対温度が予め定めた第1の値x1-dxを超えていれば空調機を用いて除湿冷却して絶対湿度を第1の値以下とした後加熱器を用いて加熱し、外気の絶対湿度が第1の値よりも低い第2の値x2未満であれば、空調機で加熱加湿して絶対湿度を第2の値以上としたのち加熱器で加熱する。絶対湿度が第1および第2の値の間であれば加熱する。この加熱の際は、マウス飼育ガイドラインで定めた最低温度よりも所定温度だけ高い温度TSPminまたはガイドラインで定めた相対湿度の範囲の最高湿度よりも所定湿度だけ低い湿度φSPmaxに制御する。【選択図】図3
