PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic mirror that has a high transmission efficiency on an entrance interface to an internal part and an exit interface to an external part and a high reflection efficiency on an acoustic reflection interface.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic mirror includes: a first light entry surface that has a first triangular prism and a second triangular prism, each of which has different acoustic velocities and where the first triangular prism and the second triangular prism are jointed on a joint surface a light exit second surface and a third surface where the acoustic wave entering from the second surface and reflected on the joint surface exits.
