The ground support unit includes an outer face.The outer face includes a non-treaded side area that defines alateral side of the outer face. The outer face includes a tread areathat is spaced laterally from the lateral edge. The tread areaincludes a plurality of projections. The non-treaded side area isaligned along the travel direction with respect to the gauge wheel.
