CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for collecting umbilical cord blood(100) includes a catheter assembly(110) and a clamp(130). The catheter assembly is inserted into an umbilical cord(C) to collect the umbilical cord blood. The clamp connects to the catheter assembly and simultaneously separates and fixes the umbilical cord and the catheter assembly which is inserted into the umbilical cord. The catheter assembly includes a hollow structured catheter(120) and a cannula(112).
