摘要：: Apparatus for treatment of a substance has at least one substance tube 10 for enabling a substance to be treated to pass in to the substance tube via the substance-inlet 104 and out of the substance tube through the substance-outlet 102. The apparatus also has a cleaning chamber 20, wherein the substance tube is configured in fluid communication with the cleaning chamber to enable a substance to diffuse the interface between the substance tube and the cleaning chamber. The interface may be a porous membrane or hollowfibre tube. The substance tube 10 is removably connectable with the cleaning chamber for interÂchangeability, cleaning or servicing. The apparatus may further comprise a support compartment 30 configured to connect to, or enclosing, the cleaning chamber, which functions to carry a fluid to substantially maintain the functionality of the cleaner. The substance being treated may be a subjects blood, the cleaning chamber may have bovine plasma passing through it and the support fluid may be oxygen.
