A system for monitoring pressure applied to a tissue site, comprising:! a transmitter configured to emit a first signal, the transmitter giving a warning signal when the transmitter receives a second signal, and! a pressure sensor configured to be adjacent to said tissue site and comprising:! an antenna configured to receive the first signal,! a diode located adjacent to the antenna, and! a membrane covering the antenna and the diode, and the membrane is configured to move from an uncompressed position to a compressed position when a force is applied to the membrane, ensuring that an electrical connection is made between the antenna and the diode, while the antenna is configured to send a second signal when the membrane is in squeezed position. ! 2. The system of claim 1, wherein the transmitter is configured to vibrate when it receives a second signal. ! 3. The system according to claim 1, in which the antenna is made of a conductive tube, while the conductive tube forms a spiral. ! 4. The system according to claim 1, in which the membrane contains an electrically conductive material located on the side of the membrane facing the antenna. ! 5. The system of claim 1, wherein the membrane is configured to move from a compressed position to an uncompressed position when at least a portion of the force is removed from the membrane. ! 6.
