An instrument and delivery method for delivering a device into a hollow organ is provided. The instrument includes an elongate tube having a proximal opening and a distal opening and configured to have the device attached to the distal portion thereof. The instrument further includes a tubular cover that covers at least a portion of the device when attached to the elongated tube. The tubular cover has elasticity in the radial direction and has inelasticity in the axial direction. The tubular cover is retrievable from the distal opening into the elongate tube so that when the device is attached to the elongate tube and covered by the tubular cover, the withdrawal of the tubular cover into the elongate tube exposes the device into the hollow organ.
