PURPOSE: A self-balancing wheelchair is provided to detect the inclination of a wheelchair, and to automatically correct the balance of the left and the right side of a seat.CONSTITUTION: A self-balancing wheelchair comprises: back wheels(110) rotatably combined to the both end of wheel shafts front wheels(120) rotatably combined to the ends of wheel frames(130) expanded from the both ends of the front wheels seat frames(140), in which a seat(150) is installed, supported by the wheel shafts and the wheel frames actuators(160a,160b,160c,160d) for rising and lowering the seat frames a sensor for detecting the inclination of the seat frames and a controller expanding and contracting the each actuator for maintaining the balance of the seat.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012휠체어의 기울어짐을 감지하여 좌석의 수평을 자동으로 원위치시키는 자동 자세보정형 휠체어가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 휠체어는 차륜축의 양단에 회전가능하게 결합되는 뒷바퀴와, 차륜축의 양단부에서 앞쪽으로 연장되는 차륜프레임의 각 단부에 회전가능하게 결합되는 앞바퀴와, 차륜축 및 차륜프레임의 네 개소에 지지되고, 상부에 의자가 설치되는 좌석프레임과, 네 개소에 수직하게 각각 설치되어 좌석프레임을 승하강시키도록 신축되는 엑츄에이터와, 좌석프레임의 기울어짐을 감지하는 감지센서와, 감지센서와 연동되어 좌석프레임이 수평을 유지하도록 각각의 엑츄에이터를 신축시키는 콘트롤러를 포함한다. 이때, 엑츄에이터는 기울어지는 쪽이 늘어나면서 동시에 이와 반대쪽이 줄어들도록 하여 보정속도를 빠르게 할 수도 있다.
