Provided herein are synergistic herbicidal compositions containing (a) a compound of formula (I): 4-amino-3-chloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl) pyridine-2-carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) VLCFA and fatty acid/lipid synthesis inhibiting herbicides, including but not limited to, acetochlor, alachlor, anilofos, benfuresate, cafenstrole, dimethenamid-P, fenoxasulfone, fentrazamide, indanofan, flufenacet, mefenacet, s-metolachlor, molinate, pethoxamid, pretilachlor, prosulfocarb, pyroxasulfone, thenylchlor and thiobencarb, or a salt or ester thereof, provide synergistic weed control of undesirable vegetation in direct-seeded, water-seeded and transplanted rice, cereals, wheat, barley, oats, rye, sorghum, corn or maize, sugarcane, sunflower, oilseed rape, canola, sugar beet, soybean, cotton, pineapple, pastures, grasslands, rangelands, fallow land, turf, tree and vine orchards, aquatics, plantation crops, vegetables, industrial vegetation management (IVM) or rights-of-way (ROW).En el presente documento se proporcionan las composiciones herbicidas sinérgicas que contienen (a) un compuesto de fórmula (I): ácido 4-amino-3-cloro-5-fluoro-6-(4-cloro-2-fluoro-3-metoxife nil)piridina-2-carboxílico o un derivado del mismo, o una sal o un éster agrícolamente aceptable del mismo y (b) herbicidas inhibidores de la síntesis de VLCFA y de la síntesis de ácidos grasos/lípidos, que incluyen, pero sin limitarse a, acetoclor, alaclor, anilofós, benfuresato, cafenstrol, dimetenamid-P, fenoxasulfona, fentrazamida, indanofano, flufenaceto, mefenaceto, s-metolaclor, molinato, petoxamida, pretilaclor, prosulfocarb, piroxasulfona, tenilclor y tiobencarb, o una sal o un éster de los mismos, que proporcionan el control de sinérgico de malezas de la vegetación indeseable en arroz directamente sembrado, sembrado en agua y trasplantado, cereales, trigo, cebada, avena, centeno, sorgo, maíz o mazorca, caña de azúca
