PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact type tonometer that suppresses discharge of unnecessary air for eyes to be examined.SOLUTION: A non-contact type tonometer includes: cornea deformation means for deforming a cornea by compressing air in a cylinder by a piston arranged in the cylinder and spraying the compressed air to the cornea of the eye to be examined from an opening of the cylinder piston control means for controlling the operation of the piston and intraocular pressure measuring means for detecting the state of the deformation of the cornea and measuring intraocular pressure of the eye to be examined.
