Disclosure is a culture box for an axial root plant. The culture box can increase the amount of cultivated plants per unit area such as licorice having a well-developed main trunk and a trunk which extends straight into a ground, and minimizes workforce needed during cultivation. The disclosed comprises: a first wooden column created to extend long to the direction of growth for the plants with straight trunks and a cross-sectional area of which is narrowed as going down to a first bottom part from a first top part and a second column whose cross-sectional area is narrowed as going down to a second bottom part from a second top part. The second column is combined as the top part including the second top part overlaps the bottom part including the first bottom part of the first column by the thickness direction.
