PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect breeding device that can achieve efficient artificial breeding of dipterous insects.SOLUTION: A insect breeding device includes a breeding chamber 1, an emergence chamber 2 and an egg-taking chamber 3. The emergence chamber 2 and the breeding chamber 1 are brought into communication by a passage 21 enabling only one way to the breeding chamber 1 of imagines emerged. The emergence chamber 2 is a darkroom. The breeding chamber 1 includes a photographing device for photographing only a region of a predetermined area of an inner face of a wall constituting the breeding chamber 1. The photographing device is connected to a processing device for processing a photographed image.
