PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on an operator by automatically changing various settings necessary for a series of operations to be performed during ultrasonic examination.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic system 100 having an ultrasonic probe made connectable includes: a signal control circuit unit 4 that performs transmitting processing of generating a transmission control signal for use in transmitting ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic probe 101 to a subject, and receiving processing of acquiring a receiving signal based on reflected ultrasonic waves received by the ultrasonic probe an image synthesis unit 6 that generates an ultrasonic diagnostic image on the basis of the receiving signal and an image change detection unit 7 that detects a change in the ultrasonic diagnostic image on the basis of the receiving signal.
