PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter which is capable of removing harmful gas components through integration thereof into an electronic device such as a copier, a printer, a multifunctional OA device, a computer, a projector, or a POD printing device, and which exhibits a sufficient flame retardancy when burned.SOLUTION: A flame-retardant deodorizing filter comprises an activated carbon layer that contains 30 to 200 g/m2 of activated carbon particles and 1 to 50 pts.wt. of thermoplastic resin binder particles per 100 pts.wt. of the activated carbon particles, and a fabric that is disposed on both sides of the activated carbon layer and contains 20 to 100 wt.% of one or more fibers selected from among a cellulose fiber, a polyvinyl alcohol fiber, a polyacrylonitrile fiber, and a phenol fiber, wherein the fabric contains 10 to 70 wt.% of the phosphorus-based flame retardant with respect to the weight of the fabric.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】コピー機、プリンター、多機能OA機、コンピュータ、プロジェクター、POD印刷機等の電子機器に組み込んで、有害ガス成分を除去することができ、しかも燃焼時に十分な難燃性を有する脱臭フィルタを提供する。【解決手段】活性炭粒子を30~200g/m2と熱可塑性樹脂バインダー粒子を活性炭粒子100重量部に対して1~50重量部含む活性炭層と、その両面に設けられたセルロース繊維、ポリビニルアルコール繊維、ポリアクリルニトリル繊維、フェノール繊維から選択される一種以上の繊維を20~100重量%含んだ布帛にリン系難燃剤を布帛重量に対して10~70重量%含有した布帛とからなる難燃性脱臭フィルタ。【選択図】図1
