Provided is a punching needle for a handpiece which is used to extract hair from a patient′s skin. The punching needle is formed in a hollow structure in which a center part is penetrated along the longitudinal direction, a front end side outer circumference of the punching needle is provided with a recessed wedge part so that a cutting edge formed at the front end of the punching needle by the wedge part is formed radially outward with respect to the central axis of the punching needle, and an anterior portion of the punching needle inserted into the skin of the patient has an inner diameter of the same diameter.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 환자의 피부로부터 모발을 추출하는데 이용되는 핸드피스용 펀칭니들이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 펀칭니들은 중심부가 길이방향을 따라 관통된 중공형의 구조로 형성되며, 펀칭니들의 전방단부측 외주연에는 리세스 형상의 웨지부가 구비되어 웨지부에 의해 펀칭니들의 전방단부에 형성되는 커팅에지가 펀칭니들의 중심축에 대해 반경방향 외측을 향하도록 형성되고, 환자의 피부 내로 삽입되는 펀칭니들의 전방부분은 동일한 직경의 내경을 갖도록 구성될 수 있다.
