The present invention aims to provide a composition for preventing or improving pigmentation that can effectively prevent or improve pigmentation. Used as such a composition for preventing or improving pigmentation is a composition comprising a combination of at least one member (A) selected from the group consisting of adenosine 5'-monophosphates and salts thereof； and at least one member (B) selected from the group consisting of arbutins, ellagic acid, 4-alkylresorcinols, linolic acid, tranexamic acid, salts thereof, chamomile extracts, and ubiquinones.本發明之目的係在於提供一種可更有效地發揮色素沈澱之預防或改善作用的用於預防或改善色素沈澱之組成物。本發明係摻合(A)選自於由5’-單磷酸腺苷及其鹽所構成之群之至少一種，與(B)選自於由熊葡萄葉素、土耳其鞣酸、4-烷基間苯二酚、亞麻油酸、氨甲環酸(tranexamic acid)、該等之鹽、洋甘菊萃取物、及泛醌所構成之群之至少一種，並以此作為色素沈澱預防或改善用組成物使用。
