PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which the occurrence of wrinkles and kinks due to the embossing is prevented and the operation performance of the embossing is improved, and also the hardness due to the embossing is lowered and a sense of incongruity in the wearing is reduced.SOLUTION: An absorbent article is provided with: an absorber embossment 23 imparted from the surface side of an absorber 4 before laminating liquid-permeable surface sheets 3 so as to surround an area corresponding to a body fluid discharging part H and a surface embossment 24 imparted from the surface side of the liquid-permeable surface sheet 3 so as not to overlap with the absorber embossment 23 separately from the absorber embossment 23. The absorber embossment 23 comprises a linear absorber embossment 26 imparted in the pad longitudinal direction on both sides in the width direction of the area corresponding to the body fluid discharging part H, respectively.
