PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a patient whose face is covered with an ophthalmic drape to easily breathe.SOLUTION: In the ophthalmic drape 1, a sheet portion 2 to cover a patients face 90 has: folding parts 24 which lap over a nasal region 91 and an oral region 93 an opening 20 and beltlike members 31 extended in right and left directions which are fixed between the folding parts 24 and the opening 20. In both laterally end regions of the folding parts 24, both sides of at least one folding line are joined to each other, and a width of central regions 242 of the folding parts 24 is in a range of 30 to 80 cm. When using the ophthalmic drape 1, the belt-like members 31 are deformed in such a way that the belt-like members 31 separate from the facial surface 90, thereby the central regions 242 of the folding parts 24 are developed in a direction separating from the facial surface 90. Thus, regions corresponding to the nasal region 91 and the oral region 93 of the patient out of the sheet portion 2, separate from patients facial surface 90, thereby a space extending from a region below the nose 911 to right and left cheek regions is formed between the facial surface 90 and the sheet portion 2. Consequently, close contact of the sheet portion 2 to the region below the nose 911 and the cheeks of the patient is prevented, and thereby the patient can easily breathe through the space.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】眼科用ドレープにて顔面を覆われた患者が容易に呼吸する。【解決手段】ドレープ1では、患者の顔面90を覆うシート部2が鼻部91および口部93に重なる折り畳み部24を有し、左右方向に伸びる帯状部材31が折り畳み部24と開口20との間に固定される。折り畳み部24の両端部は固定され、折り畳み中央部242の幅は30cm以上80cm以下である。ドレープ1の使用時には、帯状部材31が顔面90から離れるように変形され、折り畳み部24の折り畳み中央部242が顔面90から離れる方向に展開される。これにより、シート部2のうち患者の鼻部91および口部93に対応する部位が患者の顔面90から離間し、顔面90とシート部2との間に、鼻下部911から左右の頬部に至る空間が形成される。その結果、シート部2が患者の鼻下部911および頬部に密着することが防止され、当該空間を介して患者が容易に呼吸することが可能となる。【選択図】図3
