The invention relates to an air filter for the mushroom incubation space, meant for the bactericidal disinfection by means of ultraviolet radiation of the air introduced into the space for the incubation of mushrooms of Pleurotus genus by the artificial ventilation process. According to the invention, the filter for the air, introduced into a space (1) for the incubation of mycelium comprises a metal box (2), a coarse cloth filter (3) for retaining the dust, some gas discharge tubes (4) which generate ultraviolet rays with a wavelength ranging between 100 and 280 nm, a transparent panel (5) allowing the passage of the ultraviolet radiation, an air heater (6) comprising a heating element (7) with positive temperature coefficient and a fan (8) ensuring the air heating and the forced insertion of the air into the space (1) for incubation, respectively, and a specialized programmable automaton (9) coupling the component electrical elements depending on the phases in the incubation process.
