PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector capable of efficiently protecting radiation exposure of a technician who performs operation using an X-ray apparatus such as an angiography apparatus or an X-ray CT apparatus which is used for medical treatment.SOLUTION: The floor standing type X-ray protector includes: a surrounding frame which is shaped to surround a standing person and has a part opened in the rear or side a plurality of struts for holding the surrounding frame at a predetermined height and a protective sheet provided to be pendent around the outer circumference of the surrounding frame. Preferably, wheels for moving the protector are formed on the lower ends of the struts, respectively.
