PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic apparatus and a hydroponics method, in which water quality of water flowing inside a cultivation vessel can be further uniformized.SOLUTION: A hydroponic apparatus 10 comprises: an inflow part 51 for allowing water to flow into a cultivation vessel 20 an outflow part 52 for allowing water to flow out from inside the cultivation vessel 20 and a water flow direction control part 100 for controlling the water flow direction of water in the cultivation vessel 20.
