Disclosed are a processed meat and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method comprises a meat grinding step, a stirring step, a bar forming step, an animal skin packing step, a net bag packing step, a cooking step, and a cooling step. With these steps, meat is first ground to form ground meat, followed by flavoring and stirring the ground meat to form a primitive material. The primitive material is shaped in a form of a bar that is covered with an enclosure for shape fixing through freezing. Afterwards, the enclosure is removed and the bar-like primitive material is packed with an animal skin to form a semi-finished product. The semi-finished product is the deposited in a net bag and is tightened for cooking through steaming or stewing to fully be cooked so as to complete the processed meat. Finally, cooling is carried out for temperature lowering. As such, the manufacturing process is simple and high product rate can be obtained. Further, meat nutrition loss can be prevented and good taste is ensured.
