PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To floatation-operate each wheel by an interlocking mechanism to interlock an evacuation mechanism and a floatation mechanism by evacuation-operate each arm rest part from a use position to an evacuation position so as to form an open space necessary for getting-on/off, to allow each wheel to freely rotate by flotation of the wheel from a ground contact face to easily rotate the wheel by hand, and to easily position each wheel in a specific separation position.SOLUTION: This wheelchair includes a wheel separation mechanism 8 to allow separation of each wheel 6 into a fan-shaped specific portion 6a including a part of the outer circumference of the wheel and a residual portion 6b except the specific portion, and includes, in a frame 1, the floatation mechanism 10 to float-operate each wheel from the ground contact face, includes the evacuation mechanism 11 to evacuation-operate each arm rest part 4 from the use position E to the evacuation position T so as to form the open space K necessary for the getting-on/off a seat part 2, and includes the interlocking mechanism 12 to interlock the evacuation mechanism and the floatation mechanism to floatation-operate the wheels by the evacuation operation of the arm rest parts.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】乗り降りに必要な開放空間を形成するために肘掛け部を使用位置から退避位置へと退避動作させることで、退避機構と浮上機構とを連動する連動機構により車輪を浮上動作させることができ、車輪の接地面からの浮上により車輪は自由回転可能となり、車輪を手で容易に回転させることができ、車輪を特定の分離位置に容易に位置させることができる。【解決手段】車輪6を車輪の外周の一部を含む扇形状の特定部分6aと特定部分を除いた残余部分6bとに分離可能とする車輪分離機構8を設けてなり、フレーム1に車輪を接地面から浮上動作させる浮上機構10を配設し、肘掛け部4を座部2に対する乗り降りに必要な開放空間Kを形成するために使用位置Eから退避位置Tへと退避動作させる退避機構11を設け、退避機構と浮上機構とを連動して肘掛け部の退避動作により車輪を浮上動作させる連動機構12を設けてなる。【選択図】図1
