PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule-housing member and also a capsule endoscope set each having a small number of components and a simple structure, structured to be easily assembled, and smoothly performing work from activation of the capsule endoscope to takeoff thereof in a series of flows so as to make the waterproofing structure of the capsule endoscope simple and low in cost.SOLUTION: A peeling member 250 is provided with a capsule-activating pressing part 251 for activating a capsule endoscope 100 in a capsule-housing member 210 with an opening 240 kept closed. The capsule-activating pressing part 251 and the capsule endoscope 100 are respectively provided with an activation signal-sending part 270 and an activation signal-receiving part 120 transmitting and receiving the activation signal for activating the capsule endoscope 100 in a non-contact condition. The activation signal-sending part 270 and the activation signal-receiving part 120 not transmitting nor receiving the activation signal in a condition where external force is not applied on the peeling member 250, and transmitting and receiving the activation signal when the capsule-activating pressing part 251 is pressed and displaced.
