The pig holding device rests on the floor surface of the sowing pig with the fixation of the sow in the box (PK-B) or the free movement of the sow (PK-V) in the local heater space (1) so that the overall area dimensions of the device do not exceed the surface of the heated floor, whereby said device is placed in a space defined only for the piglets (2) and restrains the newly born pigs therein, consisting of a lower horizontal frame (R1), an upper horizontal reinforcing frame (R2), four corner profiles (P1, P2, P1 and P4), four vertical barriers (BI, B2, B3 and B4) and one removable thermowell (T) located on the lower horizontal frame (R1) and the supporting strips (L1, L2, L3 and L4) reinforcing frame (R1). The device as a whole provides protection and warmth comfort to new-born piglets, provides assistance in guiding piglets and nursing piglets, their selection and other manipulation in the farrowing crate.Zariadenie na zadržiavanie prasiatok je umiestnené na podlahe pôrodného koterca s fixáciou prasnice v boxe (PK-B) alebo s voľným pohybom prasnice (PK-V) v priestore s lokálnym ohrevom (1) tak, aby celkové plošné rozmery zariadenia nepresahovali plochu vyhrievanej podlahy, pričom sa uvedené zariadenie umiestňuje do priestoru vymedzeného len pre prasiatka (2) a cielene zadržiava novonarodené prasiatka v ňom uložené, pričom je tvorené zo spodného horizontálneho nosného rámu (Rl), horného horizontálneho spevňujúceho rámu (R2), štyroch rohových profilov (PI, P2, P3 a P4), štyroch vertikálnych bariér (BI, B2, B3 a B4) a jedného vyberateľného termodna (T) umiestneného na spodnom horizontálnom ráme (Rl) a nosných lištách (Ll, L2, L3 a L4) spevňujúcich rám (Rl). Zariadenie ako celok zabezpečuje ochranu a tepelnú pohodu novonarodeným prasiatkam, poskytuje pomoc pri usmernenom cicaní a ošetrovaní prasiatok, ich selekcii a inej manipulácii v pôrodnici.
