PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fishing line guide having a light weight, excellent specific strength, specific rigidity and flexibility and a method for producing such a fishing line guide.
SOLUTION: The method for producing a fishing line guide includes a bending and arranging step of making a fiber-reinforced prepreg into a bent state and arranging the prepreg in response to at least one position of bent parts 10a and 10b to be formed on a frame 3, a plate-like body formation step of heating and hardening the fiber-reinforced prepreg bent and arranged on the mold to form a plate-like body, and a frame formation step of forming the frame 3 from the formed plate-like body.
