PURPOSE: An artificial plant island with a strengthened ecological function is provided to improve a purification effect by planting different water plants depending on the depth of water. CONSTITUTION: An artificial plant island with a strengthened ecological function comprises a frame(10), a floating material(20), a water circulation unit(30), and a power supply unit(40). The frame is composed of a floating frame(11) and a submerged frame(13). Floating plants are planted in the floating frame. Submerged plants are planted in the submerged frame. The floating material is arranged on the floating frame to float the frame and has a vegetation mat(21). The water circulation unit is formed in the center of the floating frame. The power supply unit is formed on the top of the water circulation unit and supplies power to the water circulation unit.생태기능을 강화한 복합형 인공 식물섬은 수생식물이 식재되고 수면 위에서 부유하는 부유형 프레임과, 부유형 프레임과 연결되고 수심에 따라 단차를 가지며 단차별로 각각 다른 수생식물이 식재되는 침수형 프레임과, 수면 측의 물을 하방으로 폭기시키는 물 순환부와, 물 순환부에 동력을 공급하는 동력부를 포함한다. 이와 같이 구성되는 생태기능을 강화한 복합형 인공 식물섬에 의하면, 물 순환부에 의해 식물 플랑크톤의 대발생을 방지함으로써 수질을 양호하게 하고, 수심별로 다른 수생식물을 식재하여 수심에 따른 수생식물에 의한 정화효과로 인해 전체적으로 생태계를 보전하고 개발할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
