PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion cosmetic made of stable emulsion including an oily component and an aqueous component in which concern of safety is reduced and excellent use feeling is provided, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: An emulsion cosmetic is emulsion obtained by mixing 1 pts.mass of a 3-0-glyceryl-2-0-tetradecyl ascorbic acid, 20-200 pts.mass of an oily component, and an aqueous component which is 1 times by mass or more to the oily component, where the content of the 3-0-glyceryl-2-0-tetradecyl ascorbic acid is 0.01-2 mass%. A manufacturing method of the emulsion cosmetic comprises the steps of: adding the oily component to a solution in which the 3-0-glyceryl-2-0-tetradecyl ascorbic acid, an alkylene glycol and a glycerin are homogeneously mixed, and mixing them to obtain an oily mixed liquid and adding an aqueous component to the oily mixed liquid to mix them so that an emulsion is obtained.
