PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire capable of eliminating such a malfunction that one of adjacent element wires runs onto the other element wire.SOLUTION: A guide wire 10 includes a shaft 12, an outside coil body 20 that is wound around a tip part of the shaft 12, and an inside coil body 40 that is provided inside the outside coil body 20. In the outside coil body 20, a plurality of strands 22 configured by twisting a plurality of element wires 21 together are spirally wound.
