The present invention relates to pyrazolo-quinazolines, characterized by anortho-substituted-arylamino,heterocy-clylamino- or C3-C7 cycloalkylamino residue at 8 position and anaryl, heterocyclyl or C3-C7 cycloalkyl as substituent of acarbox-amide at 3 position of the molecula framework. The compounds of thisinvention modulate the activity of protein kinases and aretherefore useful in treating diseases caused by dysregulated protein kinaseactivity, in particular MPS1/TTK. The presentinven-tion also provides methods for preparing these compounds, pharmaceuticalcompositions comprising these compounds, andmeth-ods of treating diseases utilizing pharmaceutical compositions comprisingthese compounds.
