PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding rice planting machine that properly detects the completion of turning at the ridge side.SOLUTION: During the time after a planting clutch is operated in a cut-off state before the turning is started until the turning is started, travel distance detection means detects a travel distance of forward L2 of a machine body and a travel distance of reverse L1 of the machine body, and thereby a difference between the travel distance of the forward L2 of the machine body and the travel distance of the reverse L1 of the machine body is detected. With the completion of the turning, the travel distance of the machine body detected by the travel distance detection means after the turning is completed reaches a predetermined distance with the above difference added thereto so that a seedling planting device 5 reaches a position E1 where the planting clutch is operated in the cut-off state before the start of the turning, and then the planting clutch in the cut-off state is operated to a transmitted state automatically.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】乗用型田植機において、畦際での旋回終了を適切に検出する。【解決手段】旋回の開始前に植付クラッチが遮断状態に操作されてから旋回が開始されるまでの間において、走行距離検出手段により、機体の前進L2の走行距離と機体の後進L1の走行距離とを検出して、機体の前進L2の走行距離と機体の後進L1の走行距離との差を検出する。旋回の終了に伴って、旋回が終了してから走行距離検出手段により検出される機体の走行距離が、旋回の開始前に植付クラッチが遮断状態に操作された位置E1に苗植付装置5が達するように、前述の差が加味された設定距離に達すると、遮断状態の植付クラッチが自動的に伝動状態に操作される。【選択図】図7
