PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triple-lumen catheter having a structure suitable for preventing the blocking of a blood removal opening and shortage of blood flow caused by the sucking force of the blood removal, preventing the shortage of the flow of blood removal and deficient blood removal, applying reduced loads on an operator or a patient when the catheter is retained, and efficiently purifying the blood, etc.
SOLUTION: The triple-lumen catheter has a first lumen 8 and a second lumen 7 formed by a partition wall disposed in the longitudinal direction. The first lumen 8 pierces through the distal end of the catheter to communicate with the outside via an end-hole type opening 11. The second lumen 7 communicates with the outside via an end-hole type opening 12 at a position apart from the opening 11 of the first lumen 8 by 1-11 cm to the proximal side while a narrow part 3 is formed on the distal end side from the opening 12 of the second lumen 7. The triple-lumen catheter is further characterized by a third lumen 9 disposed at the cross site of the side wall and the partition wall to communicate with the outside via an end-hole type opening 10 formed in the narrow part 3.
