PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve functionality without damaging operability.
SOLUTION: An endoscope includes a hand operating part and an insertion part. The hand operating part 12 is freely rotatably provided with an operating knob 22 for bending a bent part provided at a tip of the insertion part. The operating knob 22 has a projection part 25 and a recessed part 26 provided by turns on an outer periphery. In the recessed part 26, operation switches 28 are disposed with regular intervals.
