A method consisting of formulating a one-to-onecorrespondence between locations on a three-dimensionalsurface of a body cavity and coordinates in atwo--dimensional coordinate frame representative of thelocations. The method also includes recording respectivetime-varying electrical potentials at the locations. Themethod further includes displaying a map of the two--dimensionalcoordinate frame, and presenting respectivegraphic representations of the time-varying electricalpotentials at positions in the map corresponding to thecoordinates of the locations.
