The present invention relates to a feed additive for enhancing immunity and a formula feed comprising the same. According to the present invention, the feed additive is manufactured, which comprises a culture prepared by treating K. marxianus yeast (SCHY-1) and S. cerevisiae yeast (SCHY-21), which are isolated from natural environment, under autoclave or with a papain enzyme to yield yeast autolysates and by inoculating a starter strain (SCHY-1+SCHY21) into the yeast autolysates. When fed with formula feed into broiler, dairy cattle and pigs, the feed additive is demonstrated to enhance innate immunity response such as an increase in leukocyte and humoral immune response through the production increase of cytokine IL-2 and immunoglobulin IgG. In addition, formula feed containing the feed additive is demonstrated to significantly increase the number of Lactobacillus among intestinal microorganism of the livestock, and in particular, significantly increase the number of L. farciminis in both dairy cattle and pigs. It is known that the feed additive of the present invention contributes to propagation of beneficial intestinal bacteria in the livestock as well as enhances immunity. Therefore, the feed additive using wild yeast well adapted to natural environments to have excellent growth is expected to be highly applicable to livestock industry.본 발명은 자연환경에서 분리한 K. marxianus 효모(SCHY-1)와 S. cerevisiae 효모(SCHY-21)을 고압멸균(autoclaving) 또는 파파인 효소로 처리하여 효모 자가분해물을 얻고, 여기에 스타터균(SCHY-1+SCHY21)을 접종하여 배양한 배양체를 포함하는 사료첨가제를 제조함으로써, 육계, 젖소 및 자돈에 배합사료와 함께 급여 시 백혈구 증가 등 선천성 면역반응의 향상과 사이토카인 IL-2 및 면역글로불린 IgG 생성 증가에 의한 체액성 면역반응을 향상시키는 효과가 확인되었다.또한 상기 사료첨가제를 첨가한 배합사료는 가축의 장내 미생물 가운데 Lactobacillus 수를 유의하게 증가시키며, 특히 젖소와 자돈 모두에서 L. farciminis 균을 유의하게 증가시키는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 사료첨가제가 면역력 향상 뿐만 아니라 가축의 장내 유익균 증식에 도움을 주고 있음을 알 수 있다.따라서 자연환경에서 잘 적응된 생장이 우수한 야생효모를 이용한 사료첨가제는 가축산업에 활용가능성이 높을 것으로 전망된다.
