Device for soil treatment, which mechanically moves in direction of movement along soil surface of agricultural field to be treated and is equipped with tools for loosening or cutting soil surface. Tools with the help of retaining handles (4) are located on frame (5) across the direction of movement of the soil treatment device next to each other and into one or several rows at a distance one after another. Retaining handles (4) are arranged at, at least, one transverse axis (6) on frame (5) to turn vertically thereon. Transfer device (7) is arranged between retaining handle (4) and frame (5) and consists of at least one energy accumulator (8) and one depth limiter (9). Depth limiter (9) sets the working position of the tool, and energy accumulator (8) when the tool hits the obstacle in the ground enables the rotary movement of holding handle (4) from the operating position to the upper position of the overload protection and after passage of obstacle retention of retaining handle (4) is returned to working position. Energy accumulator (8) in the working position is preliminary loaded with the main energy or the main force.
