The present disclosure relates to a method of treating proteinosis in a subject comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a quinuclidine compound. The present disclosure reduces, directs, or prevents the accumulation of protein aggregates in a tissue that has been diagnosed with proteinosis or in a subject that has been diagnosed with the risk of developing proteinosis. And a method comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of a quinuclidine compound. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising quinuclidine compounds for use in the methods.
