PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire with improved performance to pass through a narrow portion.SOLUTION: A guide wire 100 comprises: a core shaft 1； a coil 2 which is formed by spirally winding a strand and is fixed to the core shaft 1 so as to surround the core shaft 1； and a tubular body 5 which has the core shaft 1 inserted internally and is disposed inside the coil 2 in a rotatable manner.
