PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-absorbing joint capable of effectively suppressing torsional vibration of a transmission shaft and easily carrying out maintenance and the like by bringing parts such as a torsional coil spring to be exchangeable, and suppressing abrasion of construction parts by rationally suppressing vibration and improving durability and the like, and a portable cutter equipped with the same.
SOLUTION: The vibration-absorbing joint is constituted so as to transmit rotation of the output shaft 31 of an engine through a torsional coil spring 40 to a transmission shaft 7 and absorb torsional vibration of the transmission shaft 7 by the torsional coil spring 40, and is held in a pair of cylindrical connectors 35, 45 comprising the first cylindrical connector 35 to which the one end 40a of the coil spring is engaged and the second cylindrical connector 45 to which the other end 40b of the same is engaged, wherein the first cylindrical connector 35 is freely rotatably supported through a first bearing 26 by a case member 22 on the base side and the second cylindrical connector 45 is held to be freely rotatable through a second bearing 27 by a case member 23 on the tip side.
