PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter free from kickback trouble.SOLUTION: The bush cutter has rotary blades driven by transmitting power of an engine through a power transmission mechanism to the cutting blades. The bush cutter is provided with two cutting blades 20, 25 arranged one above the other and rotatable in opposite directions. The rotary shafts of the cutting blades 20, 25 are positioned in an offset state, and a kickback-free range of the edge 27 of one cutting blade 25 is protruded outward beyond the edge 22 of the other cutting blade 20 at a range (A) liable to cause kickback trouble, and a kickback-free range of the edge 22 of the one cutting blade 20 is protruded outward beyond the edge 27 of the other cutting blade 25 at a range B liable to cause kickback trouble.
