PURPOSE: A garlic cutting apparatus is provided to easily cut garlic, and to thinly cut the garlic. CONSTITUTION: A main body includes openings on the upper and lower sides for exposing a space unit (12a) to the outside. A compressing unit (20) is installed on the upper side of the main body to be slid. An elastic member (30) applies elasticity to the upper side of the compressing unit. A blade unit (40) is installed on the lower side of the compressing unit when the compressing unit moves toward the lower side. A first blade (42) is installed on one inner side of the main body. A second blade (43) is installed to be alternated with the first blade. A guiding blade (44) supports one side of a guiding unit when the compressing unit moves toward the lower side. A body unit (21) is installed on one upper side of the main body to be slid to the vertical direction.본 발명은 마늘 절단기에 관한 것으로서, 내부에 공간부가 형성되고, 상기 공간부가 외부로 노출되도록 상하부가 개방된 본체와, 상기 본체 상부에 상하방향으로 슬라이딩 이동가능하게 설치되는 가압부와, 상기 본체와 상기 가압부 사이에 개재되어 상기 가압부에 상방으로 탄성력을 인가하는 탄성부재 및 상기 본체의 내부 중 상기 가압부가 하방으로 이동되는 경우 상기 가압부의 하부에 설치되는 칼날부를 포함하되, 상기 칼날부는 상기 본체의 내부 일측에 설치되는 적어도 하나 이상의 제1 칼날 및 상기 본체의 내부 일측 중 상기 제1 칼날 상부에 상기 제1 칼날의 위치와 교호되게 설치되는 적어도 하나 이상의 제2 칼날을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 마늘 절단기를 제공한다.상기와 같은 본 발명에 따르면, 본체의 상하부에 교호적으로 배치되는 제1 및 제2 칼날에 안착된 마늘을 가압부로 가압하여 마늘이 제1 및 제2 칼날에 의해 다단 절단되도록 함으로써 숙련도가 요구되지 않으면서도 마늘의 절단작업이 용이하게 이루어질 수 있을 뿐 아니라 마늘을 얇게 절단할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
